Aloha Karin and Multinesia Team,
I want to tell you that I love “Kalo Our Brother” . I am a Parent and Commnunity Network Coordinatior(PCNC) and work at Ma’ili Elementary school located in Waianae, Hawaii. I would love to be able to show your small but very significant film to our children for Hawaiian Studies program and also I would like to show our film in my Human Behavior class as I need to provide a presentation on Strengthening Families Hawaiian style. The beginning of Kalo Our brother shows how strong the Families ties are in Hawaii and the students will appreciate this wonderful film as I do.
Please let me know if there is a chance that I could get a copy of this film Thank you Please keep the films coming they are great! Annette
Kalo: Our Brother is a story featured in The Meaning of Food, a PBS series on food and cultures in America (www.pbs.org/meaningoffood). The entire DVD is available at Shop PBS.
